EDD15 – Lab Debate announcement
Please join us on 4th of June from 10:45 to 12.00 for our Lab Debate on Urban future leading the development agenda: Sustainable urban development through territorial approaches and decentralised cooperation”!
In the framework of EDD15 (http://eudevdays.eu/), we will bring together policy-makers, local representatives and other stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities for sustainable urban development through territorial approaches and decentralised cooperation.
Greater urbanisation poses challenges at global, national and local levels. How to ensure water and energy supplies? How to manage waste and decrease pollution? How to favour inclusive local development and provide basic services? While consequences of urbanization are global, solutions can only be found with full commitment from local authorities. We are looking forward to meeting you and discussing these issues!
European Development Days will take place in Tour & Taxis (https://goo.gl/maps/q9lzl), Avenue du Port 86c, in Brussels. This session is organised by the Committee of the Regions (http://cor.europa.eu/), UNDP (http://www.undp.org/), Barcelona Provincial Council (http://www.diba.cat/ri/), FEICOM (http://feicom.cm/www/) and JADE (http://www.jadenet.org/).
Save the date in your agenda and remember to register and stay up-to-date downloading the EDD app!
