New - The European Commission will publish soon a global call for proposals within the framework of the thematic programme "Non-State Actors and Local Authorities in Development". It will be addressed to Local Authorities within the objectives 1b ("Actions in partner countries (multi-country interventions)") and 2 ("Raising public awareness of Development issues and promoting Development Education in the EU") of the programme. It will be published in the site of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Development and Cooperation-EuropeAid on 1st November 2011.
